The past 5th of March 2024 took place in Groningen the annual conference of the Dutch Society of Simulation in Healthcare and POEM-SET couldn’t miss the opportunity of being there.
POEM-SET Digital Training in Madrid

Sandrine Van Wilderode, simulation trainer, SimLabS coordinator and ICU Nurse from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, participated in the conference to present POEM-SET to all the healthcare professionals and attendants. This was a huge dissemination strategy to promote the project, sharing the relevance of our work and showing the importance of teaching person-centred care using simulation-enhanced training for international health students.
Appart of this, the highlight of the event was being recognized with the DSSH prize for best innovation presentation. This represents a before and after for the importance of POEM-SET, having become an internationally relevant project and a European reference for obstetric emergencies, simulation-enhanced training, serious games and person-centred care methodology.
